PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Production Supervisor oversees the Y2 production process from the dumper station to providing full gaylords to the supplemental warehouse that will provide all CommunityAid stores with sorted product. This position partners with the Truck Driver team and Logistics team to ensure the product from CommunityAid's bin network is moved both effectively and efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree related to business management preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required
• Three or more years of experience in a supervisory role within comparable retail and/or service-oriented businesses
• Experience effectively managing people in a fast-paced, professional work environment
• Able to lead and positively influence people through challenging situations
• Strong organizational skills, able to adjust and prioritize work to meet clear time frames and deadlines
• Able to maintain confidentialilty and appropriately handle sensitive information
• Able to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English with proficiency
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 21 to 35 pounds
• Ability to occasionally carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
