To efficiently manage available resources to perform functions to supervise daily operations of bottling department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output while meeting production targets.
- Monitor and drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by optimizing materials, labor utilization, equipment performance and production flow.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and plant-wide safety programs to maintain a safe working environment.
- Promote and ensure customer satisfaction through adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain plant sanitation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company quality and food safety requirements.
- Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to improve performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and all applicable manufacturing and quality standards
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures to enhance operational efficiency and product consistency.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Bulk, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to minimize downtime and resolve operational issues.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including production output, downtime, scrap and labor efficiency.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Associate Degree, preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred or equivalent education experience.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 – 5 years of related management experience within a food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending and/or consumer goods manufacturing/packaging environment.
- 3 – 5 year experience supervising a team of (9) or more within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of production operations including Maintenance, Sanitation, and Safety.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and ADP systems preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and team development skills.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
