Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing daily printing operations on the production floor during 2nd shift. This role ensures production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and employees work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on print production knowledge and proven experience managing a fast-paced production environment.

Your Shift:

  • 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the printing & finishing production team

  • Ensure production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met

  • Manage preventative maintenance and ensure operators are being held accountable to take care of our equipment

  • Monitor workflow, troubleshoot production issues, and minimize downtime

  • Train, coach, and motivate production staff and team leads to meet performance expectations

  • Enforce safety procedures, company policies, and quality control standards

  • Communicate with management, prepress, and finishing teams to align priorities

  • Track production metrics and report on productivity, waste, and efficiency

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor

You Must Have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a production floor, preferably in printing or manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of print and finishing production processes and equipment

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines

  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience in commercial printing, digital printing, or offset printing environments

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

  • Experience with scheduling, production planning, or ERP systems

  • Mechanical aptitude or troubleshooting experience with printing equipment

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - 60,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
