We are looking for a Production Supervisor, 1st Shift, to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Wendell, NC facility. You will develop production associates and drive improvements across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and operational performance. Relocation assistance may be available.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading daily first-shift production activities to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery (SQCD) targets.
  • Supervising, developing, and deploying production associates, including work assignments, staffing movements, engagement, accountability, and time-and-attendance oversight.
  • Applying 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste and downtime, improve cycle times, and optimize labor and equipment utilization.
  • Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to resolve production issues, implement process improvements, and support new-product introductions and engineering changes.
  • Monitoring production KPIs through tier meetings, analyzing trends, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining accurate production, labor, and material records in SAP.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, audit, and company requirements while supporting production workflows and cross-functional customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a production setting
  • Working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing context
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and 5S implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in switchboard or electrical equipment assembly and manufacturing
  • Technical training or certifications in manufacturing, operations, or lean methodologies
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean Certification

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
