About the Team

The Operations team in Santa Rosa manages assembly production while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, productivity, and delivery objectives. The team collaborates closely with Quality, Materials, Maintenance, and New Projects to support daily operations, product launches, and engineering changes. As Production Superintendent, you will report to the Operations Manager and lead Group Leaders, shift facilitators, and Line Leaders.

What you can look forward to as Production Superintendent

• Develop, manage, and monitor assembly production plans to meet established operational objectives.
• Lead production personnel and coordinate workforce planning, team allocation, training, and headcount requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Materials, Maintenance, and New Projects to ensure production continuity and successful product launches.
• Plan production lines and teams for launch runs and engineering changes, ensuring the availability of required resources.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, overtime, absenteeism, accidents, production output, and rejections.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean manufacturing tools, including 5S, SMED, and line balancing.
• Manage cost-saving projects, optimize assembly-line resources, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and customer requirements, including participation in LPA and 5S audits.

Your Profile as Production Superintendent

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing operations within the automotive industry; internal promotion candidates may be considered with less experience.
• Experience in production planning, personnel leadership, resource management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Advanced knowledge of OEE interpretation and production planning.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools, including 5S, SMED, line balancing, and structured problem-solving.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Intermediate English proficiency and availability to travel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and continuous-improvement skills.
