Production Supervisor / Print Production Specialist

About the Role


PostNet GA131 is hiring a Production Supervisor / Print Production Specialist to lead day-to-day print operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
This role is ideal for someone with experience (or interest) in print production, digital printing, or hands-on operations who takes pride in quality work and enjoys managing projects from start to finish.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time, while also supporting front-counter operations as needed.


Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Flexible between 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• 30–35 hours per week
• Additional hours available during busy periods

Key Responsibilities

Print Production / Operations

Manage and execute print production jobs from file setup to final output

• Perform file preparation (preflight, imposition, setup)
• Operate digital printers, copiers, and finishing equipment
• Complete finishing tasks: cutting, folding, laminating, binding, packaging
• Maintain quality control and meet production deadlines
  
  

Workflow Management

• Prioritize and track multiple print jobs
• Communicate job status with team members and owner
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment support
  
  

Inventory & Shop Organization

• Monitor and restock paper, toner, and production supplies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area
  
  

Customer Service Support

• Assist with front counter sales and customer service
• Answer phones and process transactions (POS system)
• Support shipping, mailbox services, and retail operations
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in print production, copy/print shop, or similar environment preferred
• Familiarity with digital printing equipment or finishing tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, small team environment
• Basic computer skills required (print software experience a plus)
