Production Shift Supervisor
WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?
The Production Shift Supervisor is accountable for the assignment and coordination of all out-list employees on the shift, collaborating with Cell and Team leaders to assign out-list employees to lines that require personnel due to absenteeism. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring a swift, organized, and safe response in crisis situations while prioritizing the well-being of all shift employees. Furthermore, the incumbent is accountable for managing all production-related activities that do not involve direct machine operation, including workplace organization, compliance with safety protocols, cleaning, 5S3R, IICI and overall operational efficiency.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any related technical course, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership in a production environment within a multinational manufacturing company.
Demonstrated experience in Integrated Work System (IWS) implementation, including Daily Management Systems (DMS), Centerline/CIL, Defect Handling, and structured problem-solving. Ability to coach teams on IWS routines and embed continuous improvement behaviors.
Relevant experience in team management, process optimization, and driving operational efficiency.
Experience in compiling reports, analyzing irregularities, and recommending corrective actions to enhance production processes.
In-depth knowledge of EHS procedures, labor laws, and corporate safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
Familiarity with the tobacco industry will be an additional advantage.
