Job Description

VPG is looking for a Production Section Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Modiin site. This role offers the opportunity to work in a technologically advanced environment and make a direct impact on production performance and efficiency.

  • Manage and execute production plans in alignment with the Planning Department
  • Allocate and optimize workforce based on tasks, training, and skill sets
  • Lead and coordinate all production floor resources, including direct and indirect employees, equipment, and inventory
  • Maintain full control over production metrics: capacity, yield, quality, and work procedures
  • Initiate and drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Lead daily morning meetings (pass-down), set clear goals, and motivate teams for high performance
  • Handle production incidents and quality issues, including root cause analysis and preventive actions
  • Lead daily production activities on the manufacturing floor in a hands-on, floor-based role, ensuring smooth operations and immediate problem-solving

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in electronics or chemical industries – strong advantage
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field – advantage
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies – advantage
  • High level of English proficiency
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, MFG/ERP systems)
