Job Title: Production Scheduler US

The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordinating production workflow for multiple products, planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance
and minimum delay in meeting customer demands and company goals.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Commodities team to schedule production (i.e. what commodities to run, for what jobs and in what order per shift) and allocate
• Conduct EOS reports and production audits
• Coordinate with Commodities and Logistics teams on setting truck exit times
• Determine labor requirements and product needs to cover production demand
• Communicate and update schedule expectations to Product department via digital production board
• Confirm product inventory amounts and quality standards meet the needs of customer expectations
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information
• Other core expectations as defined by the company


Requirements and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Post secondary education in Project Management, Engineering or Business-related field preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in production scheduling required
• Proven knowledge of packaging and/or packing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); FAMOUS®
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize; understand the need for urgency while remaining focused; detail orientated
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and in a team atmosphere; ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; ability and willingness to travel
• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. Moderate work in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation.
• Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required.
• Role frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, use hands to handle or feel product or packaging, and reach with hands and arms.
• The position may involve needing to lift up to 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
