Production Scheduler - Production Planning
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, equipment issues, or material shortages
• Prioritize work orders to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements
• Analyze capacity constraints and recommend solutions to improve throughput and efficiency
• Ensure raw materials, compounds, and components are available to support planned production
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and production efficiency
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning and workflow optimization
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment (rubber/plastics experience is an asset)
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory control
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Experience with S&OP process is an asset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Working Conditions
