Eaton’s EPG CHD EP LATAM division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler.

What you’ll do

Job Summary

Production Schedulers are primarily focused on converting the Master Schedule into an operational one-to-four-week schedule for a facility after aligning with the internal manufacturing capacity. And maintain a master production schedule (a document summarizing the production plan after considering customer orders, forecast,

backlog, material availability and capacity planning) often for multiple product lines

Job Responsibilities

-Production schedule for all items. The Production Scheduler is responsible for level loading daily production schedules through analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize through-put, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals.

-The Production Scheduler must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing). In this function you will: - Direct daily workflow (WIP – “work in process”) through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams as well as the critical ratio tool.

• Aligns and sets priorities for resources and shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer ship schedules on time.
• Works with SCM planners for daily parts/material information to analyze and establish dates to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements via planning or exchange offering.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing. .
• Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function.
• Actively participate in CI activities and process improvement also creating/adhering to standard work.
• Collaborate with Materials Supervisor to maintain accurate inventory records at 95% or better. - Evaluate bills of materials to ensure proper inventory relief.
• Evaluate machine and plant capacity to balance current and forecast plant loading

Qualifications

Education level required

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
• English: conversational advanced

Years and area of experience required

• > 3 years in Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP…)

Technical knowledge

• Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production Scheduling’ , capacity analysis, inventory management.
• Working understanding of MRP area.
• SAP Experience is a plus.
• CPIM certification a plus
