This position is responsible for establishing daily production planning and scheduling routines, as well as tracking raw material purchasing to ensure the execution of the production plan. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to establish strategies for goal achievement and define operational guidelines in alignment with all relevant areas.

The Role & Your Impact:

Operating in a dynamic and integrated environment, this position combines strong analytical expertise with operational execution. The role plays a key role in advancing Novonesis’ purpose by optimizing production flows, managing inventories, and ensuring efficiency and quality across manufacturing processes through effective planning and continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities in this role:

  • Establish daily production planning and scheduling routines and track raw material purchasing to ensure production plan performance;
  • Monitor production planning and control, aligning production capacity with the company's commercial goals, and adjust production pacing and material flow to meet schedules and deadlines;
  • Develop and ensure production scheduling, track execution, and monitor quality levels to identify bottlenecks, waste, and productivity constraints;
  • Control inventory levels through monitoring of raw materials, inputs, and finished goods, managing purchasing plans, storage, delivery times, and replenishment requests;
  • Track sales forecasts, compare them against actual sales, and identify and report any deviations;
  • Ensure compliance of processes, services, and equipment, resolving issues to guarantee quality and alignment with global programs and procedures;
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs, proposing and implementing actions to optimize products, services, and processes;
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report to management, and present results in coordination meetings to track process evolution and team performance.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Production Engineering, Administration, or related fields;
  • Desirable specialization in Supply Chain and/or Production Planning and Control (PCP);
  • Proficiency in the Office Package – with an emphasis on Excel;
  • Advanced English;
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 07h30 to 16h30.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value:

Knowledge and proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (considered a strong differential).
