Production Scheduler

In this role you will play a critical role in balancing customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability. You will collaborate closely with Production, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure our products are delivered on time and our operations perform at their best.

What You'll Do

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory targets, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Balance production requirements with available resources to ensure optimal utilization of equipment and labor.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly production planning activities with manufacturing teams.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, material shortages, capacity constraints, or operational issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planners, Purchasing, Production and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability for planned production.
  • Analyze production requirements and capacity constraints to identify risks and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within ERP systems to support effective planning processes.
  • Track key production planning KPIs, including OTTR, schedule adherence, on-time production, inventory levels, and capacity utilization.
  • Support new product introductions, product transitions, and phase-out activities to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and inventory reduction while maintaining customer service levels.
  • Participate in S&OE and cross-functional planning meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Ensure timely communication of production plans, changes, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence programs.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • SAP ERP system.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent English and Hungarian communication skills; additional local language capability is an advantage.
