We’re seeking a Production Scheduler to support manufacturing operations, machining schedules, production planning, inventory control, and workflow coordination. This role is focused on keeping production moving efficiently by aligning labor, materials, machine capacity, inventory, and customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Build, update, and manage production schedules based on customer orders, material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources.

Coordinate daily and weekly production priorities with operations, machining, purchasing, inventory, quality, and shipping teams.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, machine downtime, or priority changes.

Use ERP/MRP systems and planning software to track work orders, inventory levels, lead times, and production requirements.

Support inventory control by reviewing material availability, shortages, reorder needs, and production demand.

Help identify bottlenecks, workflow issues, and scheduling conflicts that impact throughput or delivery timelines.

Communicate schedule changes, priority shifts, and production risks to internal teams.

Maintain accurate production planning records, work order status, and scheduling data.

Support lean manufacturing initiatives focused on efficiency, flow, waste reduction, and on-time delivery.
Required Experience

Production scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing coordination experience.

Experience in a manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or industrial production environment.

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, planning software, work orders, inventory tracking, and production schedules.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, material flow, machine capacity, and shop floor priorities.

Ability to manage changing priorities, production delays, inventory issues, and customer delivery requirements.

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across operations, purchasing, quality, inventory, and shipping.

Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to keep schedules accurate and current.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience supporting machining operations, CNC production, fabrication, assembly, or high-mix manufacturing.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, kanban, 5S, or production flow improvements.

Experience with inventory control, material planning, purchasing coordination, or supply chain support.
