PURPOSE:

  • Be responsible for manufacture/tolling plants finished goods production scheduling.
  • Track daily production and take charge of raw material inbound planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Raw Material

  • Accurate planning of ISO Tank raw materials in the appropriate production lines and batches.
  • Adjust mid-term/long-term raw material inbound plan based on rolling production plan to secure the continuity of production and customer order fulfillment.
  • Daily call-in of raw materials from external warehouses to support consistent production.
  • Daily tracking of production execution status, alert if any Raw material shortage and adjust Raw material inbound plan accordingly.
  • Partial packaging materials inventory check and inbound plan follow up based on production plan.
  • Coordinate with related stakeholders on Raw material quality issue discussion and follow up.
  • Be responsible for Raw material inventory management, including shelf-life extension application and aging stocks deduction plan.
  • Be familiar with new Raw material or alternative vendor introduction process, follow up MA status. Alert if there is any potential shortage risk on production plan.

Production Schedule

  • Support/Plan for manufacture plant production scheduling on monthly basis and keep good communication with plant on production line utilization and OT arrangement.
  • Daily tracking of production execution status, alert supply planner for any unexpected change or shut down and work out the contingency plan of scheduling and raw material purchasing.
  • Timely follow-up on demand/production change, quick adjustment on scheduling is necessary.
  • Identify, negotiate, and drive resolution of any conflicts related to material availability, capacity, and order promise integrity.
  • Maintain production stability, optimum inventory levels and resource utilization per the business rules, while meeting the needs of the customers.
  • Alert when manufacturing problems occur.

Other tasks

  • Co-work with procurement team on raw material pre-build for cost saving.
  • Co-work with manufacturing teams incl. process, technical, QC etc. to identify risks production risk in advance and find solution.
  • Report analysis of production schedule.

Continued Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Promote digitalization of production scheduling.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Major in logistics, engineering, chemical is preferred
  • Certificate in APICS CPIM/CSCP will be a plus

Professional Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in multinational organization’s supply chain management, preference given to candidates with manufacturing background. Working experience on site of plants will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability of developing production plans, taking into consideration company’s objectives, business strategic rules and current challenges/constraints
  • Informal leadership skills in influencing cross functional teams
  • Logical and sensitive to numbers
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Good cross-departmental communication and collaboration
  • Hands-on, willing to work and meet tight deadliness under pressure

Data & Toll Skills

  • MRP knowledge is required
  • SAP experience would be considered as an advantage
  • Good data analysis skills of Excel, Tableau, Powe BI

Language Skill

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written)
