The opportunity

Bring clarity and momentum to the factory floor as a Production Scheduler supporting Hitachi Energy in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. This onsite, full-time role sits at the heartbeat of operations—turning the production plan into a detailed, executable schedule that helps teams maximize resources, protect delivery commitments, and keep customers informed.

In this role, scheduling is more than dates and lines—it’s problem-solving in real time. You’ll identify constraints early, take practical countermeasures, and collaborate across production, materials, purchasing, and customer service to keep work flowing. Your decisions will help shape daily priorities, reduce disruption, and strengthen schedule reliability.

If you enjoy connecting the dots between materials, capacity, and shipment commitments—and thrive in a fast-moving environment where urgency and organization matter—this is an opportunity to make a visible impact every day.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Build and maintain a detailed production schedule from the production plan.

  • Release manufacturing work orders to support daily execution.

  • Run daily plant-level materials requirement planning to align supply to demand.

  • Monitor schedule adherence and drive follow-up actions for deviations.

  • Flag capacity or material availability risks impacting schedules.

  • Manage MRP exception messages and partner cross-functionally to resolve issues.

  • Coordinate delivery-date commitments with customer service and stakeholders.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your back-ground

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated accomplishments.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar scheduling or planning role.

  • Planning and/or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system preferred (materials management and production planning).

  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, customer- and quality-focused approach.

More about us

  • Grow skills through cross-functional collaboration across production, materials, purchasing, and customer-facing partners.

  • Make work visible and meaningful by improving schedule reliability and delivery confidence for the factory and customers.

  • Build a career path in planning and operations with opportunities to take initiative, lead improvements, and broaden scope over time.
