ABOUT US:

Penn Aluminum International LLC is a premier manufacturer of precision aluminum drawn tube tubing and extruded shapes, providing high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers. Our Machine Operators play a pivotal role in the success of Penn Aluminum’s future by ensuring our customers’ production, safety and quality demands are met.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity
  • Analyze capacity and lead times to optimize machine utilization and minimize scrap.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, machine downtime or urgent orders.
  • Communicate schedule updates and priorities to Production and Die Shop.
  • Present production status and delivery timelines in daily Production/Scheduling meetings.
  • Regularly evaluate Shop Orders and close completed operations, adjusting material variance as needed.
  • Work with CSRs and Die Shop to create new parts for production and assist in the APQP process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be able to work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office Environment

Exposure to the following when on manufacturing floor:

  • Noise, grease, metal shavings
  • Exposure to extreme heat

Pay Range:

44,000.00 - 66,000.00
