Job Description

What impact you’ll make

The quality laboratory specialist reports to the Quality Leader and is responsible for leading and supervision of the Electrical Test Laboratory and special inspection processes.

What you’ll do

  • Documentation: Prepares the documentation required for conducting in-process and final product quality control for electrical tests and other special testing processes, as specified in customer requirements (ITP).
  • Electrical Authorizations: In accordance with Decision no. 49/07.08.2020, performs electrical tests according to the category specified in the examination sheets for authorizing personnel performing activities in electrical installations (from an occupational health and safety perspective), external authorizations (ANRE, etc.), and medical certificates attesting to their medical fitness.
  • Quality Monitoring: Provides the necessary documentation for control operations (electrical tests) to the Quality Control team and provides training to quality controllers.
  • Maintenance Follow-up: Tracks the documentation of electrical test results after any corrective maintenance action following an accidental equipment failure in the production flow.
  • NCR Management: Registers NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) in the system and initiates corrective actions for non-conforming products (in the case of electrical tests) after the Methods Engineer introduces the necessary corrections; closes the NCR.
  • Qualification/Homologation: Collects and documents electrical test results required for the product quality file for the customer, during implicit qualification/homologation phases and effective production, including for special processes (if applicable).
  • Continuous Improvement: Responsible for implementing improvement actions resulting from quality plans and customer feedback.
  • Consultation with Controllers: Consulted by quality controllers regarding the interpretation of in-process and final electrical test results and how to document them.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Engineering bachelors Degree, preferably electrical or electrotechnical field
  • Foreign language skills: English
  • P roven expertise in customer resolution & preventive tools, ISO standards knowledge
  • Knowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods
  • Knowledge of generators repairs
  • Inclusive leadership & communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct within defined responsibilities
  • Must be a team player willing to sacrifice individual goals when needed

What will make you stand out

  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience dealing with customers
  • Knowledge of RCA and CAPA tools such as [5WHY, Ishikawa, PDCA, A3, 8d, etc]
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard
  • French language skills are an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
