Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Production Quality Clerk-1st Shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Production Quality Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of inbound receipts, outbound shipments, product returns, and quality-related activities within the Dallas Distribution Center. This role supports inventory integrity, customer service, compliance, and continuous improvement by executing system transactions, inspections, audits, and investigations across multiple warehouse functions.

All new hires in hourly positions are placed in a 90-day Introductory period addressing safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity after which they will be evaluated for continued employment.


In this function, you will:
• Process inbound receipts by verifying product, quantities, and documentation against system records
• Inspect inbound, outbound, and returned product for damage, accuracy, and compliance
• Process outbound shipping verification and resolve shipment discrepancies
• Perform product return inspections and determine appropriate disposition (put-away, rework, or scrap)
• Complete accurate system transactions in WMS, SAP, and related systems
• Conduct inbound, outbound, and inventory audits as assigned
• Investigate inventory and quality discrepancies and complete root cause analysis
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation to support audit readiness and trend analysis
• Communicate issues and findings to Team Leads, Supervisors, and cross-functional partners
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment as authorized
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Flex between shipping, receiving, and quality tasks based on operational demand
• Knowledge of how to manage and execute Q-Hold materials

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma OR GED (General Education Degree) from an accreditied institution.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment or Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering
• Prior experience with WMS and SAP systems
• Prior Shipping and Receiving experience
• Prior Quality or inventory control experience
• Prior Forklift or order picker experience
• Experience using Excel or data tracking tools
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Prior Eaton product knowledge

Position Success Criteria:

• This position is based in a distribution center environment and requires regular physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required based on customer demand.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs and perform continuous standing, bending, and reaching with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer proficiency including data entry and email.

• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
