
The Production QA will lead the quality aspects of new product implementation and maintain consistent quality in production from vendors. This position will drive product and production improvements to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements, and work closely with the sourcing team and vendors.
Preferred from location: Bien Hoa, Tam Phuoc or Trang Bom in Dong Nai, Vietnam.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and Secure
Quality Assurance Ensure key process control parameters are set and followed by vendors.
Risk Management Identify key risk areas and align actions to mitigate risks during production, following up on effective implementation.
Product Audits/Inspections Perform product audits and inspections to secure final inspection, providing regular feedback to vendors to improve quality performance and customer satisfaction.
Communication Clearly communicate WSI requirements and ensure their implementation.
Training Train and calibrate production and final inspectors to ensure only high-quality products that meet our standards leave the factory.
Improvement Projects Lead improvement projects related to production processes, sharing best practices and knowledge to enable suppliers to take full responsibility for their performance.
Product Deviation Management Address product deviations urgently, capturing learnings, securing root-cause analysis, stock correction, and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on customer feedback.
Documentation Ensure product documentation is created and maintained at vendors for WSI and that production implements these requirements.
Supplier Evaluation Evaluate potential new suppliers' production facilities and quality systems.
2. Implement & Follow Up
Process Implementation Ensure key processes and requirements according to WSI are implemented.
Inspection Procedures Follow product inspection procedures and ensure competent inspectors are calibrated at all times at vendors.
Communication Ensure production engineers and quality assurance departments at vendors are updated with requirements and ensure implementation.
Customer Feedback Communicate customer feedback and quality performance metrics, securing proactive actions.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing within the home furnishing merchandise sector.
Extensive knowledge in the respective home furnishing product category, including constructions, materials, product, and quality levels.
Strong understanding of production processes and technologies.
Skilled in process evaluation techniques and analysis of suppliers' working methods and performance.
In-depth knowledge of product requirements, regulatory standards, and process test requirements.
Comprehensive understanding of product and materials value chain and cost aspects.
COMPETENCIES & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Basic level of English communication.
Ability to communicate in Chinese is preferred.
Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
