As a Production Process Specialist in the Technology Energy Module at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in optimizing production processes, enhancing equipment availability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient and sustainable energy module production.

What awaits you?

  • Highly automated manufacturing environment – you analyse production processes and identify optimization potential regarding quality, equipment availability, and production costs.
  • Continuous Improvement – you coordinate and support improvement projects, develop new methods, and implement sustainable solutions to increase process performance.
  • Production System Development – you contribute to the development and implementation of lean production principles within the Energy Module Production.
  • Performance Management – you monitor relevant key performance indicators, analyse deviations, and initiate corrective actions to achieve target performance levels.
  • Autonomous Process Optimization – you independently identify improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility and drive the implementation of necessary actions.
  • Teamwork and Coordination – you collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing processes.

What should you bring along?

  • Educational Background – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, engineering management, production engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Work Experience – at least two years of professional experience in serial production with a strong understanding of manufacturing technologies. Experience in electromobility or the automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Process Improvement Expertise – experience with structured problem-solving methodologies, continuous improvement activities, and lean management principles.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills – strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and support conflict resolution when needed.
  • Analytical and Quality Mindset – proactive approach, strong sense of ownership, and a pronounced focus on quality and process performance.
  • Language Skills – native-level Hungarian and fluent English are required. German language knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Work Schedule – flexible work schedule.
