We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team as Production Planning Support working in our Aerospace division.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in aerospace production, and general office/clerical experience as well as a high attention to detail.
Purpose:
Provide assistance and backup when needed to support our team. Provide support with customer production by scheduling work for production and tracking it through the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer job orders including scheduling and maintaining all required documentation.
- Adding jobs to the pack-slip.
- Per customer requirements request tools, assembly detail, raw materials, etc... as needed.
- Provide daily updates on work orders received, shipped, how many parts shipped, hot jobs, on hold, paint and in shop. Maintain electronic copies and distribute on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assume responsibilities as backup as needed.
- File work orders as needed.
- Open work orders, establish a due date, print and organize as needed.
- Ship jobs to Outside Processing Partners.
- Commitment to the job and goals of the department to meet customer expectations.
- Performs duties in conformance to company BMS as well as AS9100/ISO standards and procedures.
- Ensures the adherence to production safety and health standards, policies and procedures.
- Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two to three years minimum production support and/or general office or clerical/administrative experience is required.
- Ability to work safely in a team environment. Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve effectively.
- Prior experience in part marking, shipping and packaging preferred.
- Strong organization and prioritizing skills required. Exceptionally strong attention to detail and strong ability to follow through to support production schedules and deadlines.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Suite with proficiency with Excel.
- ERP experience preferred, experience with Oracle a plus.
- Ability to navigate websites.
- Ability to work schedule as assigned.
