The products that we offer are unique in design, and some include patented features. Products have been developed and tested in accordance with IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA standards for high voltage equipment. They are primarily used by investor-owned and public electric utilities and large industrial operations in substation, distribution, transmission, and generation applications.

- - - All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq. ft. multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA. The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.

- - - We are seeking highly motivated students to join our Production Planning team. The Production Planner Intern will support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of manufacturing activities within a high-voltage switch production environment. This role is designed for students pursuing supply chain or operations-related degrees who want hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, production workflows, and real-time problem-solving. Interns will work closely with production planners and operations teams to help ensure efficient and timely execution of manufacturing schedules.

- - - - Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining production schedules for high-voltage switch components and assemblies.
- - - - Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to track work orders, material availability, and production status.
- - - - Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, delays, or resource constraints and propose potential solutions.
- - - - Forecasts lead times and communicates updates regularly with production teams.
- - - - Support capacity planning efforts by reviewing labor, equipment, and workflow requirements.
- - - - Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and planning tools used in daily production operations.
- - - - Utilizes project management skills to ensure resources are allocated and the schedule is maintained.

- - - - Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- - - - Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- - - - Proficiency in Excel or other date-analysis tools; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- - - - Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- - - - Interest in manufacturing operations, production planning, and process improvement.
