We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planning and Fulfillment professional to manage and optimize the production scheduling, planning, and fulfillment processes. This role is key to ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring seamless coordination between production teams, suppliers, and customers.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand, optimizing production capacity and minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate production plans with relevant departments (e.g., procurement, engineering, and logistics) to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure the availability of materials, and prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure production efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Manage and update production schedules based on changes in customer orders, production delays, or material shortages.
• Ensure that production processes comply with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Support the fulfillment process by overseeing packaging, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and fulfillment status, generating reports for management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production planning and fulfillment processes to drive efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and fulfillment in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Proficiency with ERP software and production planning tools.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, lead times, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving production goals.
Job Type Full – time
Work Location: San Jose, CA (on-site daily)
(The current work location is our San Jose office. This is a temporary arrangement until we move into our new facility in Sunnyvale later this year.)
Compensation $85,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
