Main responsibilities
The Production Planner Manager's role is to ensure an efficient and achievable production schedule is set to satisfy the requirements of the Industrial and Commercial arms of the business. Detailed capacity analysis work is to be performed to ensure the current and future demand plan can be met.
You will manage a small team of production planners and support the Plant Supply Chain Head in all their duties.
·Management of the daily work requirement of the Production Schedulers
·Working cross functionally with the Commercial Business on stock updates and requests to provide the right supply visibility in a timely manner
·Preparation and implementation of the Master Production Schedule via analysis of demand, manufacturing, engineering and business information
·Capacity Planning with Scenario analysis
·Achievement of Customer Service requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
·Overseeing Finished Goods target inventory levels
·Conduct and document regular performance reviews and an annual review as well as regular personal / career development discussions with direct reports, in line with agreed Opella Performance Management Process

Experience
• 3+ years Production planning experience in Pharma or FMCG business

•Robust leadership and stakeholder management skills
Technical skills
•Constraints-based planning and scheduling
•Work Centre Capacity Planning knowledge
•Supply Chain Inventory Management
•SAP system knowledge (Essential)
•Advanced Excel experience
Education
•Supply Chain qualifications (APICS or similar)
