This is a great opportunity for junior planner, fresh graduate or early-career candidate who want to build their experience in production planning, scheduling, and supply chain coordination within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is based at Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah, Malaysia

• Schedules and coordinates the flow of work within or between departments to facilitate or expedite production. Provide support and serve as inside liaison for customers and sales agents.
• Preparing build plan and production schedule for customer orders and inventory replenishment for safety and consignment stocks.

Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix)
Delivery:
• Plan and coordinate physical movement of materials, parts, finished goods, and information to ensure optimization of cost and service level.
• Schedules and coordinates the flow of work within or between departments to facilitate or expedite production.
• Distributes work orders to departments denoting number, type and proposed completion date.
• Complies reports on progress of work and machine, tool and equipment failures to inform on production delays.
• Delivers continuous improvement through participation in Lean kaizen events.
Business Partner:
• Confers with department Team Leaders, customer service, designers, engineering and marketing to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods.
• Develops strong relationships and provides effective communication, prioritization, and alignment across value streams, sites, business units, and functions.
• Demonstrates capability for engaging with external business partners to provide seamless linkage of supply chain processes.
• Works with Purchasing to ensure material availability for all raw and assembled goods required to meet the Master Production Schedule.
• Serves as inside liaison between production, purchasing, and customer service.

Center of Expertise (COE)
• Demonstrates capabilities in material management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), pull systems, flow, and the implementation of lean concepts.
• High attention to detail, follow up and attention to customer service.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bronze Lean certified.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Possess exceptional conflict resolution skills and is adept at dealing with situations involving conflict.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or Technical Qualification with related experience (1-2 years)
• Must be willing to work at Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah, Malaysia.
