Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join the Power & Thermal Management division in Reno.
You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive products when they need them. By balancing customer demand, production capacity, and inventory requirements, you help drive operational excellence, support business growth, and contribute to a positive customer experience. Legrand is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Reno,
Nevada. In this role, you will develop and manage production schedules, coordinate with manufacturing
and purchasing teams, and help ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time.

What Will You Do?
· Create and release work orders based on MRP demand, customer orders, and forecast requirements.
· Provide accurate ship date information and scheduling feedback to Sales and Customer Service teams.
· Develop work orders for production, SKU conversions, and rework activities.
· Monitor production order progress and adjust schedules as needed to support delivery commitments.
· Expedite critical orders across the supply chain.
· Partner with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams to
ensure schedule alignment.
· Participate in daily production planning meetings and communicate priorities clearly.
· Maintain communication regarding customer demand, open opportunities, and production constraints.
· Support S&OP discussions through planning updates and insights.
· Identify and support process improvements related to planning, inventory management, and customer
service.
· Assist with new product launches and planning requirements.
· Support cost-reduction initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
· Develop and maintain planning bills of material.
· Participate in internal and external audits.
· Contribute to a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment.
· Participate in departmental cross-training and additional projects as assigned.
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of
· Minimum of 3 years of related supply chain experience, preferably in production planning or scheduling
within a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP).
· Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Experience working with ERP materials management and production planning systems.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
· Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and audit processes.
