The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. This role coordinates with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demand.
Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts.
Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed.
Analyze capacity and resource constraints.
Implement planning tools and systems.
Report planning metrics and performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least of 5-7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.
Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
