The Ideal Candidate

  • 2–5+ years’ experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain, ideally within food manufacturing.
  • Experience in meat, ham, poultry or chilled food production would be highly desirable.
  • Understands how production actually operates, including labour availability, production capacity, changeovers, downtime and raw material constraints.
  • Has strong Excel skills.
  • Understands food safety, traceability, allergens, stock rotation and product sequencing.
  • Can quickly react when production doesn't go to plan—for example, equipment breakdowns, labour shortages, raw material issues or quality holds.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • 2–5+ years' experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain, ideally within food manufacturing

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Understanding of food safety, traceability, allergens, stock rotation, and production sequencing
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
  • Able to react quickly and confidently when production plans change
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
  • Proactive and solutions focused approach to planning and production challenges

Plan and coordinate production across the Low Risk Ham and Poultry departments, ensuring customer requirements are met while maximising capacity, managing materials, and supporting efficient production flow.
