About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Kågeröd. In this role, you will be responsible for translating demand requirements into efficient and executable production plans, ensuring optimal use of manufacturing resources while maintaining high service levels.

You will work closely with Central Planning, Production, Logistics, Procurement, and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the factory. The role requires strong planning capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and align weekly production plans for the Kågeröd factory based on demand requirements from Central Planning.
  • Create, release, and monitor production process orders in SAP.
  • Ensure the availability of all required resources, including production capacity, raw materials, packaging materials, and workforce requirements.
  • Plan and order necessary materials from suppliers to support uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate production activities while considering tank and silo capacities, inventory levels, and inbound/outbound logistics flows.
  • Monitor and contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators, including: ATS, OTIF, Inventory targets, Cost efficiency
  • Support the optimal utilization of production assets and manufacturing resources.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate regular and cycle stock counts.
  • Identify and proactively resolve planning constraints and supply chain risks.
  • Act as a backup for the Scheduling Optimizer Downstream when required.

Your profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, vocational education, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar supply chain role.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food, ingredients, or FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3 or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of production planning and inventory management processes.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resilient and comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
