Responsibilities:
Evaluate and organize material availability.
Ensure that the required materials for production are available according to the plan.
Manage production planning activities.
Communicate the production schedule to the manufacturing area for adjustments.
Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Ensure fulfillment of commitments made for order delivery in the agreed quantities and timelines.
Analyze and design production scheduling schemes or strategies that facilitate or improve production control.
Monitor the performance indicators of the Planning area, defining and executing actions to achieve established goals.
Review that the current planning and scheduling strategy does not negatively impact the inventory objectives defined by the company.
Comply with the KPIs established for the department.
Generate reports for monitoring critical items.
Work together with Customer Service to define customer delivery dates.
Apply and promote 5S practices and participate in improvement projects.
Determine which products or orders should be manufactured first based on urgency and capacity.
English level: Intermediate – conversational
Education: Industrial Engineering, Administrative Engineering, or related field
Computer skills: Advanced Microsoft Office, MRP, Oracle
Other skills: Leadership abilities, effective communication, dynamic personality
Required knowledge: Production scheduling, supply chain
Preferred: Lean Manufacturing
Work experience: 2 years in Planning
