Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Production Planner at MKS Malaysia, you will support Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Shipping, and Customer teams in coordinating production activities to ensure materials and products are delivered on time while meeting quality and operational requirements. In this role, you will report to the Senior Production Planner.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Assisting in inventory planning, production scheduling, and coordination of products through the production cycle.
  • Supporting daily production planning activities based on material availability and customer demand.
  • Monitoring production schedules and updating ERP/MRP systems accordingly.
  • Coordinating with Purchasing and Production teams to ensure materials are available according to schedule.
  • Assisting in resolving production schedule interruptions such as material shortages or urgent customer requests.
  • Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and shipment coordination activities when required.
  • Preparing planning reports and maintaining accurate production data records.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities related to planning and scheduling processes.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years replated experience in production planning, material planning, or manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Good analytical, coordination, teamwork abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
