Who we are looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Planner to prepare orders for production according to demand schedules and quality standards. This role is essential to ensuring goods are produced on time and in a cost-efficient manner for distribution.

As Production Planner, you will develop a strong understanding of production procedures, maintain organization, and apply problem-solving skills to optimize workflow. You will collaborate closely with various teams within the warehouse and operations center, making strong teamwork and communication skills essential.

Our goal is to maintain a smooth and efficient production flow while fostering a collaborative team environment.

What you will do

• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
• Plan and prioritize operations on work orders IAW with drawing requirements and quality standards.
• Determine equipment, raw materials and part availability needed for production WIP
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales order and work order revisions
• Address demand-related issues to management in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor jobs to ensure on time completions.
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Organize workflow by preparing WIP to support given customer product delivery schedules
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in administration management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Materials Planning),
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Aerospace experience
• Experience with supplier relationship management
• Good at math and statistics
• SAP - advantage
