The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling various tasks to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery. You will play a vital role in aligning our digital workflow with the physical production on the floor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Unless otherwise specified, the Production Planner responsibility includes, but is not limited to, a dedication to the company’s mission statement, to company profitability and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the planning team to align resources and meet production targets.
• Track project lifecycles to ensure they finish on time and remain within budget.
• Work across the organization to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy; create BOMs based on specific truck configurations and options.
• Organize BOMs in accordance with production routes and perform on-site work center evaluations to verify route feasibility.
• Ensure all project-related documents and technical specifications are prepared and completed as required.
• Communicate effectively to facilitate cooperation between engineering, procurement, and the shop floor.
• Update SharePoint and the ERP system daily with project changes to ensure real-time communication across all departments.
Qualifications
• Prior experience as a production planner within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient working knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and ERP systems.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach; able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional focus on accuracy, planning, and meeting strict deadlines.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain successful internal and external working relationships with a "team player" attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Hillsboro facility.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
