We are looking for a Production Planner located in Crowley, TX This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
Responsible for creating and managing daily production and machine schedules based on Crowley and Warehouse Inventory levels for designated product line families. Analyzes scheduling/planning and capacity needs and develops reports and analyzes data for operations in accordance with all quality and safety protocols.

What You Will Do:
Prepares, updates and maintains daily, weekly and monthly operations reports and metric scorecards
Monitors material availability levels and coordinates raw material purchases with procurement department
Reviews obsolete/excess inventory to use as substitution materials on an as needed basis
Ensures production runs are prioritized for on time delivery (build to stock) while ensuring raw material is available as schedules are created.
Schedules production runs to ensure parts are produced and delivered on time
Monitors appropriate finished & semi-finished goods inventory levels and prioritizes stock out items.
Coordinates efforts with Operation Managers and floor supervisors to schedule production orders for maximum machine utilization and capacity purposes.
Monitors WIP throughout production process ensuring work order completeness in timely manner
Works in conjunction with Product Management and advises when Requisition able and Special Orders will be completed.
Creates lead time estimates for customer inquiries for quotes.
Leads Export & Raw Material meetings managing all information pertaining to product line
Defines, develops and evaluates performance metrics to establish process success
Gathers analytical data and analyzes information; identifies trends & patterns and synthesizes findings cohesively
Participates in regular project status reviews and tracks project plans.
Drives and contributes to the organizational continuous improvement culture
Engages leadership and other departments to obtain support and buy-in for changes
Coordinates with supervisor implementation of best practices/standard work
Works closely with manufacturing areas, inventory management, supply chain and accounting
Participates in or leads any other projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor
Maintains confidentiality of all matters

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-year production planning experience
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
Outstanding Microsoft Excel knowledge (e.g. pivot tables, vlookup, macros etc.)
Proficient in all other Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Access, Word)
Above-average critical thinking, problem solving and sound judgment skills business functions
Demonstrated advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Must be proven self-starter and proactive
Tremendous attention to detail, self-initiative
Strong organizational and time management skills
Advanced continuous improvement mindset
Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment
Must be a team player and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certification or APICS CPIM Certification (Production and Inventory Management)
Lean manufacturing experience
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle
