Fleming and Baron, an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking to add a Production Planner to our Woodbridge manufacturing team.

What would you do as a Production Planner?

You will create and manage production work orders while ensuring materials, schedules, and shop floor execution stay aligned with customer commitments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining schedule integrity and supporting on-time delivery performance.

You would also:

  • Release and monitor manufacturing orders to meet ship dates
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Supply Chain on raw materials and outside processes
  • Identify material shortages and proactively escalate risks
  • Analyze production output vs. the Master Production Plan and close performance gaps
  • Support ERP-driven planning while maintaining schedule accuracy
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational discipline
  • Contribute to a safe, compliant, and collaborative work environment in line with AADG policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required

The Skills and Experience you need

  • Post-Secondary Education and/or Certification in Inventory management, supply chain management, operations management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong ERP/MRP system experience
  • Analytical mindset with solid Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Lean / Kaizen / continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting
  • CPIM (preferred or in progress)

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 depending upon experience
