The Production Partner serves as the operational center of gravity for a lending Pod, responsible for driving production outcomes through disciplined credit decisions, consistent pricing integrity, and active delinquency oversight. In close partnership with the Loan Officer and internal teams across processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing, the role ensures efficient, predictable execution from initial sizing through final close and ongoing portfolio performance.

 

This position is not sales-oriented and does not carry responsibility for revenue generation, prospecting, or business development.


How Success is Measured                                                                                                                                  

·      Ensure sustained, high-performance production across the full loan lifecycle by creating operational leverage for the Pod.

·      Establish and enforce company leading standards for portfolio accuracy, predictability, and execution excellence.

·      Enforce forecasting discipline across the Pod by certifying pipeline accuracy, risk, and closing probability at the pipeline certification date, and holding the team accountable to committed results.

·      Accountable for credit outcomes, pricing integrity, and delinquency performance across all deals within the Pod.

·      Anticipate and resolve the most complex operational, credit, and delinquency risks with minimal escalation.

·      Own post-closing performance, including extension strategy, modification outcomes, and overall portfolio health.

 

Responsibilities                                                                                                                                                

Production & Customer Service

·      Set the company standard for pipeline discipline and execution quality.

·      Own internal coordination across underwriting, processing, and closing.

·      Serve as the central point of coordination for internal problem solving and execution.

·      Support the Loan Officer by engaging directly with borrowers on credit considerations and execution requirements, and serve as an escalation point for client communication throughout the loan lifecycle.

·      Create operational leverage that improves Pod performance.

·      Drive exceptional client service outcomes by improving internal processes and execution quality in support of a consistent 10/10 Net Promoter Score (NPS).

·      Take ownership of additional responsibilities/miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Loan Officer, adapting to evolving market conditions, deal complexity, and Pod specific needs.

·      Own day-to-day pipeline management for the Pod, and certifies deals for closing in any given month. Ensure that any certified deals close in the month they were certified.

 Size the Loan

·      Independently owns deal sizing, structuring, and feasibility through detailed review of borrower financials and deal metrics.

·      Own credit quality, pricing exceptions, and exception management for the Pod (even if deal was done by the Credit Analyst).

·      Partner with the Loan Officer to enforce pricing discipline within approved parameters.

·      Collaborate with lenders to structure loans while ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.

·      Own the most complex and high-risk credit situations end to end.

·      Anticipate and resolve most risks with limited escalation, and is responsible for outcomes.

Delinquency

·      Set the standard for delinquency management and portfolio risk discipline within the Pod.

·      Anticipate delinquency risk through pattern recognition across borrowers, assets, and market conditions

·      Independently evaluate, structure, and approve complex extensions and modifications, owning outcomes end to end.

·      Lead resolution strategies for the most complex and high-risk delinquency situations with limited escalation.

·      Accountable for Pod level delinquency performance, including severity, duration, and resolution effectiveness.


What We Look For                                                                                                                                                           

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in underwriting, client relationship management, or a related financial services role.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, loan structuring, and client portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
