Job Summary

This role is primarily responsible for painting a variety of parts in accordance to work instructions. Responsible for compliance to Quality Systems Regulation (QSR).

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for painting and processing a variety of parts in accordance to specifications and work instructions.
• Detailing and Parts inspection, including documentation after Paint process.
• Responsible for following department area procedures on matters such as KANBAN, scrap/reprocessing and work instructions.
• Responsible for reporting on a variety of matters such as scrap, safety and training.
• Responsible for training and learning a variety of work stations by following training guidelines.
• Responsible for learning compliance to policies/procedures applicable to the position.
• Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance.
• May work on special projects/assignments upon request.

: REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D is preferred.
• One (1) year experience with batch booth powder coat applications.
• Experience in wet coating of plastic parts is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend (in English) simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Documents may include: Material Safety Data Sheets, work orders, work instructions, manuals, policies and procedures, etc.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• The Painter essential job duties must be performed at the work site.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly exposed to elevated temperatures.
