MULTIPLE MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION ENTRY LEVEL PACKER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Night Shift Positions available

Shift Schedule: 15 working days per month* Modified 2-2-3 Schedule* 12 hr. shifts (6:00-6:00)

Packer will be responsible for accurately packing and inspecting all products. Ensure that manufacturing production area meets Huhtamaki quality requirements. This responsibility is to be exercised within the scope of all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Major Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in a safe manner; adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Packs quality product into cartons/boxes while adhering to packaging specifications.
• Inspects product on regular basis for quality.
• Assists in cleaning equipment and performs housekeeping duties on a regular basis.
• Communicate concerns and ideas effectively to supervisor and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Requires prolonged standing (85%).
• Requires twisting at waist, grasping, bending/stooping, squatting/kneeling.
• Requires reaching above, at and below shoulders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to see, read, distinguish letters and/or symbols.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Work overtime as required to meet customer’s needs.
• Basic educational level background normally acquired through the completion of high school level programs leading to a diploma or equivalent preferred.
