Job Description

Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Operating forklifts and other authorized material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, stack, and store waste, recyclable materials, and other goods
• Supporting waste management operations by sorting and segregating recyclable and non-recyclable materials and ensuring proper storage in line with environmental regulations and site procedures
• Ensuring the efficient movement of materials between reception, sorting, storage, production, and dispatch areas while supporting daily operational requirements
• Performing daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance as well as reporting defects, breakdowns, incidents, and maintenance requirements
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free working areas

Here's what you can bring to the team:

• Valid forklift operator certification / license and 1-2 years of relevant forklift operating experience, ideally within waste management, recycling, logistics, manufacturing, or an industrial environment
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements as well as environmental and waste handling procedures
• Experience in waste management, recycling facilities, material recovery, or comparable industrial operations is an advantage
• Strong safety awareness, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying conditions and to meet the physical requirements of the role
