Production Operator

Location: Gort, Co. Galway

Role Type: Full-time, permanent, on-site

Shift Pattern: 3-cycle shift pattern with no weekend work

  • Week 1: 3 x 12.5-hour day shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm
  • Week 2: 4 x 12.5-hour night shifts, 6:00pm–6:30am
  • Week 3: 2 x 12.5-hour day shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Gort, Co. Galway. In this hands-on role, you will support the production of high-quality healthcare technology products by operating CNC or automated machinery, assembling components, carrying out basic machine checks, and helping ensure finished goods are produced to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate CNC or automated machinery to support the manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
  • Carry out routine production, assembly, packaging, and material handling activities in line with established procedures.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, corrections, and checks to support safe and efficient production.
  • Follow quality, safety, and documentation requirements to help ensure products meet required standards.
  • Resolve routine production issues using defined procedures and seek guidance when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and internal stakeholders to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused culture built on teamwork, agility, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with CNC or automated machinery. You should be comfortable working independently on standard tasks, following procedures, and using good judgment to resolve basic issues while working as part of a supportive team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ months’ previous experience with CNC or automated machinery.
  • Ability to complete basic maintenance activities and machine corrections.
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent level of education.
  • Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and a desire to contribute to work that makes a difference.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
