Job Description

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Work within and adhere to the safety practices established within the company.

  • Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and/or equipment used in the course of work performance.

  • Preventative maintenance of equipment used in the course of work performance.

  • Maintain accurate record keeping within the department.

  • Repackage product into proper containers.

  • Container preparation. (Labeling, stenciling, placarding, etc.).

  • Equipment maintenance.

  • Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with Laboratory personnel.

  • Maintain clean working environment.

  • Loading/unloading or outbound/inbound tankers.

  • Maintains assigned production area and assures that it is operated within operating procedures and/or process descriptions.

  • Receive Initial and Annual Hazardous Waste Management Training.

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to maintain a good safety and attendance record.

  • Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs.

  • Knowledge of forklift operation, with certification.

  • Skills associated with a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Working knowledge of D. O. T. regulations.

  • Good math, bookkeeping, and organization skills.

  • Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements.

  • Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertinent to the Compressed Gas Department.

  • Ability to understand and comply with the responsibilities of the job as outlined in the Job description.

  • Ability to understand and carry out process descriptions applicable to the job.

  • Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work
    other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.
