Job Description

• Inspect glass for defects.
• Pack glass according to specifications for shipment.
• Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications.
• Completes required quality/production paperwork.
• Maintain line cleanliness, sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash.
• Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
• Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments.

• $18.68 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 shift differential (nights)

• Education / Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred but not required.
• Entry level position with the expectations to advance and move into other positions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT

1. Performing duties within normal industrial environmental conditions may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions.
2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
3. Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear, and speak.
4. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
5. Associates must always follow posted security procedures while in the building.
6. Must follow all PPE requirements.
