The Production Operator performs entry‑level production tasks under supervision, supporting safe and efficient manufacturing of products. This role is responsible for raw material preparation, mixer operation, packaging, documentation, and adherence to quality and safety procedures. The position contributes to maintaining consistent product standards and a clean, compliant production environment.
• Prepare raw materials and packaging by verifying labels, weight, type, and batch/lot numbers before loading into mixers.
• Operate mixers by loading raw materials per process instructions, taking samples, unloading, and packaging finished goods.
• Document production parameters and results to ensure traceability and compliance with legal requirements.
• Follow all quality and operating procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform initial product checks to ensure no deviations in appearance, quality, or specifications.
• Package final products according to instructions and ensure zero labeling or visual defects.
• Maintain machinery and work areas in clean and proper condition.
• Complete and maintain required training documentation.
• Follow all EHS policies and report any deviations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
• High school diploma or general education diploma.
• 2+ years of experience as Production Operator I or 3+ years in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
• Basic knowledge of common software programs (e.g., MS Office).
• Availability to work shifts.
• Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes.
• Basic English understanding.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical production environment.
• Familiarity with standard safety and quality systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance).
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and manual handling of materials.
• Exposure to normal chemical‑environment conditions, including temperature, dust, odor, and noise.
