Position: Production Operator
Location: Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time on-site position.
Status: Permanent, full-time (1). This role is to replace a vacant position.
Schedule: 40 hours / 4 days. Monday to Thursday from 4:00am to 2:30PM.

Here are some of the responsibilities of the Production Operator:
• Measuring and weighing ingredients according to product recipes
• Loading and unloading ingredients in blender bowl
• Operating mixing and filling equipment
• Labelling bags and packaging of food products
• Stacking and lifting heavy bags (repetitively)
• Ensure all required documentation and production logs are completed and accurate
• Assisting the sanitation in changeovers: wet and dry washes
• Participate in monthly safety inspections and in team meetings
• Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) outlined for working in a food processing plant and all Safety programs, procedures and policies.
• Adhere to the allergens policy and handling procedures
• Work safely, report all workplace hazards and follow all Quadra Safety policies and procedures, Occupational Health & Safety Act; participate in annual health & safety training
• Maintain a clean work environment (sweeping, mopping, general housekeeping)
• Operate motorized equipment (e.g., forklift), as required
• Assist warehouse and plant team members with various tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by plant supervisor/lead hand or management
Job Requirements and Key Attributes:
• High school degree
• Fair command of English language
• Basic mathematical knowledge
• Basic computer skills to be able to print production work orders and labels
• Self-motivated; willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility with minimal direction
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Complete Quadra classroom trainings and Health and Safety orientation
Physical Capabilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22.68 kg) on a regular basis
• Capable of repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
Working Conditions
• Food manufacturing environment
• Required to wear company-provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be between 21.50$/hr to 32.26$/hr. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
