Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental rules, in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
• Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times in designated areas.
• Carry out production or packaging activities according to work orders and planning requirements.
• Guarantee the efficiency and quality of operations in order to meet production schedule targets.
• Work effectively with the Supervisor and the Planning team, and update tracking tools (boards, planning displays, etc.).
• Apply all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform necessary quality checks and ensure product compliance throughout production.
• Cooperate with other departments (Maintenance, Packaging, Quality, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation, including adherence to 5S standards.
• Provide coverage for colleagues on other machines or lines during absences or holidays.
• Participate in information sharing, feedback activities, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete all required training for the position.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Profile Required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and numeracy skills.

Experience

• Experience in an industrial environment or production operations. Experience in chemistry or liquid handling is an asset.
• Good communication skills.
• Adaptability and team spirit.
• Knowledge of COSHH / COMAH standards is appreciated (or equivalent French industrial safety standards).

Technical Skills

• Holder of a CACES 3 forklift certification.
• Ability to read and follow a production or batch sheet.
• Ability to handle and lift loads (bags up to 25 kg, several times per shift).

Soft Skills

• Working in a sensitive environment (SEVESO low‑threshold site, handling chemical products) requires a strong focus on safety.
• As work is conducted in close interdependence with others, solid teamwork skills are essential.
