Job Responsibilities:

This is a 2nd shift position, 3 pm - 1 am with OT & weekends, as scheduled.

Starting wage is $18.58/hour + shift premium of .75 cents/hour

Responsibilities:

Operate various machines involved in the assembly of parts by inspecting and inserting pieces, activating machines, unloading and inspecting assembled parts.

  • Assemble components and parts in accordance with standardized work

  • Report any damage or quality issues resulting from damage

  • Apply operator instruction sheets, quality specifications, safety standards for sub-assembly and assembly of parts and components and inspection of parts as required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods working on feet performing repetitive actions that require frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and/or lifting from the floor, waist, overhead, chest, and/or knee level; may also be required to squat, kneel, push, pull, carry, grasp with hands and fingers; use of hand tools

  • Visual acuity is necessary to read instructions, manipulate parts, tools, machines and other objects.

  • Hearing acuity to understand verbal instructions, respond to emergency signals.

  • Prolonged exposure to moderate to high levels of noise, laser beams, flashing or blinking lights, machine signals and other sounds associated with a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety glasses and safety footwear is required

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
