Job Description

Cut Liner to length, relax liner to housing oven, flare liner, and perform all in process inspection.

Principle Duties (includes, but may not be limited to):

  • Cut to length liner with band-saw.
  • Pull liner into elbow housing using puller.
  • Relax liner to housing in oven.
  • Flare liner on elbow flaring machine(s) and cool flared elbow on cold head machine(s).
  • Tag and mark elbow with identification and trim excess flare off with knife or punch die.
  • Perform all in-process inspection (TQC) to specifications using appropriate measuring / test instrument (s).
  • Perform set-ups of machinery and equipment tooling.
  • Perform material handling functions using hand trucks and forklifts.
  • Report production and labor on VDT and work order traveller.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts on items in work cell and work cell stock area and report inventory corrections.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, any parts weighing over 50lbs requires a team lift.
  • Operator must have basic blueprint reading skills to interpret engineering drawings and specifications necessary to perform job
  • Operator must have basic math skills including addition / subtraction of fractions and decimal values for determining material, manufacturing and inspection requirements
  • Operator must have ability to read measuring instruments not limited to but including: tape measure, thickness gage, micrometers and calipers.
  • Operator must have good hand-eye coordination, grip strength and dexterity to assemble products using hand and machine tools at established production standards.
