The Roles
Large Press Operator - As a Large Press Operator your responsibilities will include assembling wax pattern parts, operating and maintaining injection mold dies and machines, following detailed work instructions, keeping accurate process flow records and ensuring precise calibration of injection mold press equipment. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with specialized equipment, we would love to hear from you!
Mold Prep - As a Mold Prep your responsibilities will include applying K-wool to ceramic trees and molds in preparation or molten metal pouring, this critical step is performed in strict accordance with Engineering and Customer specifications, as well as all safety guidelines!
Pre Finisher - As a Pre Finisher you will be responsible for cleaning metal parts to remove foreign particles and use grinders and saws to shape components and eliminate burrs or surface defects. Every task if performed with precision, following a strict Investment Casting Standards and Engineering specifications to ensure each part meets exact customer requirements on time to customers.
Metal Finisher - As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for cleaning metal parts using sandblast equipment in line with departmental instructions, routers and customer specifications. You will also load parts into the machine, removing debris, maintaining equipment, and inspecting parts for quality before the next operation. As a Metal Finisher you will record job progress in our tracking system and safely transfer parts using racks or carts.
Wax Operator - As a Wax Operator, you will assist the plant by using your hands on skills in assembling, inspecting, and training on Wax Molds. You will need to learn and understand the products, equipment set-up, follow specific operating procedures and interpret the results of your work. You will be working alongside the team to Handles wax parts and metal dies to mount and clean Wax and metal parts. All tasks must be completed in strict accordance with the Investment Casting Standards and Engineering Specifications to meet customer criteria in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Qualifications
Degree in relevant engineering and experience working within a metallurgy environment; ideally within aerospace.
We are keen to hear from individuals who have knowledge of investment casting technology, processes and manufacturing methods, based upon 5 years minimum experience in the engineering, manufacture and/or application of investment castings.
Experience with world class manufacturing process, and methods, Lean, Kaizen, 6s, TMP (talent management program), and other advance manufacturing methodologies, tools and concepts would be a plus.
