Job Description
The Production Operation Manager oversees the entire pharmaceutical manufacturing cycle, workforce planning, output, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production planning, manpower deployment, and workflow.
- Ensure GMP standards are strictly applied.
- Coordinate production with QA/QC, R&D, warehouse, and engineering team.
- Drive production performance KPI (yield, rejection rate, downtime).
- Oversee machine capacity utilization and production cost control.
- Lead investigations for deviation, breakdown, and process failure.
- Manage training, discipline, and performance of production staff.
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance in the plant.
Main Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–7 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing; at least 2 years in management role.
- Knowledge of tablet, capsule, filling, or packaging line operations.
- Strong leadership and process improvement ability.
